【福建省肿瘤医院】

胸外科是我院重点科室，在国内首先开展食管癌全胸段切除、颈胸腹三野淋巴结清扫手术，已形成一套规范的手术方法，使淋巴结清扫更加彻底，共完成2000多例，是国内外开展这项手术例数最多的医院之一。开展胃大部切除术后食管癌三野三切口根治术手术成功率高。开展肺癌全肺、叶及袖状切除术等550余例。引入了胸腔镜辅助下微创的诊断及治疗手段，开展了胸腔镜助以小切口的肺叶切除术。获省科委三等奖1项、省卫生厅二等奖2项。


DEPARTMENT OF THORACIC SURGERY (MEDICAL SECTION NO. 1)

The department of thoracic surgery of Fujian Provincial Tumor Hospital is one of the earliest hospitals which developed subtotal esophagectomy with three-field lymphadenectomy for patients with esophageal cancer in China (i.e. resection of lymph nodes of neck,chest and abdomen). Over several decades, a systematic surgical technique has been well developed to ensure a relatively high survival rate as well as entire resection of suspected metastatic lymph nodes; and we have used this approach on more than 2000 patients. After using subtotal gastrectomy in the radical therapy for esophageal cancer, the survival rate has been considerably improved. And we also fulfilled 550 cases of lung resection, lobectomy as well as sleeve resection. Recently, video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) has been introduced as the preferred way to diagnose and treat for minimally invasive purpose, and we also developed video assisted lobectomy.
